Dhanusha Police Arrest 125 Fugitives in One Week

Janakpurdham. Dhanusha police have arrested 125 people in the last one week as part of an operation to arrest fugitives who absconded after being sentenced to imprisonment and fines by the court on various charges. The District Police Office has stated that a special campaign has been launched to effectively implement the decision of the District Court.

According to the District Police Office spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhusudan Neupane, 125 fugitives who absconded after being sentenced to imprisonment and fines were arrested during the period from Asar 25 to Saun 1.

According to him, 10 fugitives were arrested on Asar 25, 26 on Asar 26, 22 on Asar 28, 28 on Asar 29, 14 on Asar 30, 14 on Asar 31, and 11 on Saun 1. Spokesperson Neupane informed that all the arrested fugitives have been presented in the District Court for execution of the sentence after completing the necessary legal procedures.

Dhanusha police have stated that they will continue the campaign to search for and arrest fugitive defendants in the coming days to effectively implement the court's decision.
