Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Rupandehi Experience Moderate Rainfall; Alert Issued

Rupandehi. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged caution as moderate rainfall is occurring in Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Rupandehi, and surrounding areas. Issuing a special bulletin at 11:50 AM on Saturday, the department indicated the possibility of further rainfall in those areas.

According to the department, moderate rainfall has been continuous in these districts and surrounding areas for the last 3 hours. The department has stated that the risk of increased water flow in small rivers passing through these areas is high as the rainfall is expected to continue.

The department has requested local residents and the general public to take necessary precautions, warning that increased water flow in rivers could affect coastal areas and nearby settlements.
