Kidney patient gets aid from Nepali immigrants

Myagdi –Nepali immigrants have raised Rs 344,000 to aid for the treatment of kidney patient, Suresh Chhantyal, a local of Mangala rural municipality-5, Neta. 


The aid amount was collected under the ‘Save Suresh Campaign’ launched by Om Kumari Peace Fund for the treatment of Chhantyal, 19 who is surviving with failure of both the kidneys. 


The amount collected from Nepali immigrants working in different countries was handed over to Fund Chairperson Rajesh Shakya and Suresh’s mother, shared Campaign’s Moderator Lal Kumar Roka. 


NRNA Ireland Treasurer Junga Adhikari and member Bal Chhetri had raised the amount of Rs 156,000 while Tanka Chhantyal from Malaysia collected Rs 84,000 and Kamal Budhathoki from Turkey raised Rs 29,000. 


The campaign run by the Fund to aid for people requiring kidney transplantation since August 21 has so far collected Rs 2 million. 
Suresh is being treated at Alka Hospital in Lalitpur. ---
