NFPJ organizes photo exhibition in China

Binzhou (China), December 11 — The National Forum of Photo Journalist (NFPJ) Nepal has organized a photo exhibition in Binzhou, China from today. The photo exhibition is themed 'Flying over the Himalayas', 'Nepal-Shandong Cultural Week' and the 'Enchanting Nepal'.

The event is held in association with Binzhou Photographer Association, Chinese tourist photo Su Xue and the Nepal-China Friendship Forum.

Around 100 pictures taken by Nepali photo journalists working in various media houses are put on display in the exhibition, reflecting fascinating natural heritages, tourism destinations, lifestyle and diversity of cultures and traditions for a month across various cities in Shandong Province.

A team of 14 Nepali photo journalists led by NFPJ President Pradeep Raj Onta reached Shandong Province for the exhibition.

In a programme organized to welcome the Nepal delegates, a MoU was signed between the NFPJ and Binzhou Photographer Association for enhancing cooperation between the two organizations for exchange of cultural and professional photography materials, shared Onta.

Chinese participants in the programme expressed their confidence that the photo exhibition would further strengthen friendly ties between China and Nepal and it would also support in advancing China's Belt and Road concept.

FNPJ President, echoing the Chinese participants, believed that the event would further foster Nepal and China's cordial relations and the exhibition could promote tourism.
