Press Freedom National Conference Begins in Nepal

Kathmandu. The National Conference of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has started today with the slogan 'Press Freedom in Changing Circumstances: Communication Law and Responsible Journalism'.

In the program, Federation President Nirmala Sharma has accused the government of having a narrow view towards the media.

She argued that even though journalists have the capacity to reach ministries in Singha Durbar, they are not even allowed to go to the gate of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office.
