Chhimkeshwori Temple Community Forest Designated Religious Forest

Tanahun. The Division Forest Office has declared the community forest around Chhimkeshwori Temple in Ambukhairani Rural Municipality-5 as a religious forest and handed it over to the Chhimkeshwori Tourism Committee.

At a program organized here on Saturday, the office chief Manoj Ranabhat handed over the forest management responsibility to the committee chairman Krishna Tamang, stating that the forest has been provided to the temple for tourism development, forest conservation, and greenery promotion.

With this, 7.21 hectares of forest area around Chhimkeshwori Temple has been handed over as 'Chhimkeshwori Religious Forest'. After the forest handover program, 300 saplings of various species were planted at the same location.
