Four Ministries Vacant of Secretaries After Pramidala Devi Shakya Bajracharya Retires

Kathmandu. After Secretary Pramila Devi Shakya Bajracharya, who was working in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, went on mandatory retirement from Tuesday night, 4 bodies with secretary posts have become vacant.

According to the official website of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, opmcm.gov.np, there are no secretaries in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Nepal Trust's Office, Public Procurement Monitoring Office and the Secretariat of the Judicial Council.

Meanwhile, 6 secretaries have been made without responsibility in the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office and kept in the additional group (reserve). They were kept in reserve by the Council of Ministers' meeting on Jestha 22. Some of the vacant 4 bodies have been vacant since before that time.

According to the website of the Prime Minister's Office, secretaries Dr. Govinda Sharma, Dr. Dilliram Sharma, Loknath Poudyal, Dr. Krishna Hari Pushkar, Hari Prasad Mainali and Dunduraj Ghimire are in the additional group of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office.

Among these, Secretary Ghimire is suspended after the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed a corruption case against him. The rest have been suspended without being given responsibility.
