Nepali Congress Establishes Human Aid Welfare Fund

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has also announced the establishment of a Human Aid Welfare Fund on the occasion of the death anniversary of the party's founder and first democratically elected Prime Minister BP Koirala on Wednesday. 

Announcing the fund, Chairman Gagan Thapa informed that single women and children rendered homeless would be supported with the fund's money. Chairman Thapa said that Rs 1 million collected from party members has been deposited in the fund and it will be increased. 

Chairman Thapa also informed that detailed information about the fund and other political issues and campaigns of the party will be announced on Thursday at 2 PM at the National Convention Hall. 

Congress has stated that it will organize a special program on Thursday at 2 PM at the National Convention Hall on the occasion of BP's death anniversary to conclude the ongoing 'Jara' campaign and announce new programs.
