Film 'Bhagdoud' Song 'Patli' Released Ahead of July 10th Premiere

Kathmandu. The film 'Bhagdoud' is set to be released nationwide on the 26th (July 10). As the release date approaches, the song 'Patli' from the film has been released. The song, sung by Pralhad Timilsena and Asmita Adhikari, has lyrics and music by Basanta Sapkota.

The main actors of the film, Nisha Shrestha and Ghanshyam Joshi, can be seen acting in the song which expresses a love story. The film, directed by Pahamal Upreti, raises issues such as foreign employment, finance and cooperative fraud, and the various ups and downs in people's lives as its story. Director Upreti said that the film will feature an interesting blend of love, revenge, and struggle.

Besides Nisha and Ghanshyam, actors Sharada Rai (Diana), Bishal Pokharel, Shishir Chapagain, Deshbhakta Khanal, Laxmi Giri, Shankar Maharjan, and Subash Timilsina play key roles in the film. The film, presented by Bishwaram Bisht, has Angira Thapa as the executive producer, while co-producers are Bhupendrakumar Khadka, Sagar Puri, and Suresh Giri.

This film, produced by Supreme Music and Films Pvt. Ltd. and National Cine Group Nepal, is centered around Bungamati, a historic and traditional Newar settlement in Kathmandu, and its surrounding areas along the Bagmati River. Presenter Bishwaram Bisht said that the film will portray the ancient civilization of Bungamati, Newari art and culture, the coexistence of various communities such as Newars, Bahuns, and Chhetris living there, and the balance between traditional practices and modern lifestyles on screen.

The film features cinematography by Deepak Bajracharya, editing by Pravin Dhakal, and music by Basanta Sapkota and Prakash Nepali.
