Music Khabar Music Award Announces Honorees and Awardees

Kathmandu. The honors and awards for the upcoming 13th 'Music Khabar Music Award' to be held on Sunday have been announced. The organizer Music Khabar.com issued a press release announcing the awards and honors.

According to the press release, renowned musician Shambhujeet Baskota will be honored with the 'Music Khabar Lifetime Achievement Award-2082' at the award ceremony. This honor is being given to the veteran musician Baskota, who has composed music for thousands of songs, in recognition of his long-standing contribution to music.

Lyricist Unnati Bohora Shila, lyricist Bijay Shivakoti, singer Shiva Pariyar, singer Kalika Rokaya, lyricists Purushottam Sanu and Sushila Poudel, media persons Kuber Giri and Gopikrishna Chapagain, among others, will be honored at the program, informed the award's program coordinator Sabita Pokharel.

In this edition of the award, which has been organized continuously for the past 13 years, awards will be presented to various creators and creations in 33 different categories including nationalistic songs, pop songs, folk-dohori songs, modern songs, and film songs.

The award, which will be organized with various musical splendors, is one of the popular and prestigious awards among music lovers.
