Tractor Accident Kills Driver in Udayapur

Udayapur. On Wednesday morning around 5:30 AM, a tractor accident occurred at the Setidunga Khahare stream, bordering Ward No. 1 and 3 of Limchundung Rural Municipality, resulting in the driver's death at the scene. The tractor, numbered M.P.01-001 Ta 2840, was carrying stones from Katike towards the Ward No. 1 office. While trying to navigate the steep and uneven unpaved road of the Khahare stream, the tractor got stuck. During the process of extraction, the brakes failed, causing the tractor to lose control and overturn, falling approximately 50 meters below the road into the stream.

The driver of the tractor, identified as 32-year-old Himal Rai from the same locality, died at the scene. The co-driver, Pradip Rai, is reported to be safe.
