Film Journalists' Association Nepal Announces National Feature Writing Competition 2083

Kathmandu. The Film Journalists' Association Nepal is organizing the 'Film Journalism National Feature Writing Competition-2083' with the objective of enhancing the standard of Nepali film journalism and encouraging creative writing.

The association has issued a public call urging film journalists to participate in the competition. Journalists interested in participating can send feature stories, articles, or film reviews related to film, music, art, literature, or theater, prepared by October 23, 2083, to [email protected].

The content submitted for the competition must be a minimum of 1,100 words and a maximum of 1,900 words. A selection committee formed by the association will select the top five entries from the received materials.

The association has stated that the first prize winner will receive Rs 20,000, the second prize Rs 15,000, the third prize Rs 10,000, and two consolation prize winners will each receive Rs 5,000 along with a certificate.

The submitted material for the competition must be original, unpublished, and the author's own creation. Priority will be given to members of the association and original writing.

The association's General Secretary Gopikrishna Chapagain has urged all film journalists to participate enthusiastically in the competition organized to enhance the quality development of film journalism and strengthen the culture of creative writing.
