Speaker Aryal Reveals Opposition Parties Ignored Dialogue Calls

Kathmandu. Speaker Dolprasad Aryal has revealed that opposition parties ignored calls for dialogue.

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, Speaker Aryal stated that he had called the parties on Sunday to discuss the parliamentary deadlock and had also called them for a meeting of the Business Management Consultative Committee today, but representatives of the opposition parties did not attend the discussion.

The opposition parties obstructed the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, after which Speaker Aryal made this statement. He suggested that the opposition parties should compete on issues of the nation and nationality in making laws for Nepal and called on them not to compete with the Speaker.
