Stock Market Index NEPSE Rises by Double Digits

Kathmandu. The stock market index NEPSE has seen a double-digit rise today. On one day of the week's trading, the NEPSE index increased by 16.38 points and closed at 2758.49 points.

Today, a total of 10.8 million shares of 336 companies were traded. In this process, a total transaction of 4.48 billion rupees has taken place.

Today, the prices of 202 companies increased, while the prices of 59 companies decreased. The prices of 7 companies remained stable. Today, the Hydro group increased the most by 1.29 percent, while the indices of all groups except Trading increased. The Trading group decreased by 0.42 percent. 

Today, Crest Micro Life Insurance has made the most profit. Its share price has increased by 14.81 percent. Similarly, the price of Mailung Energy increased by 9.64 percent and the price of Aakhukhola Hydropower increased by 6.93 percent.

Based on the transaction amount, Aakhukhola Hydropower remained at the top today. Shares of this company worth more than 436.563 million rupees were traded. Similarly, Ridi Hydropower with 245.4 million and National Hydro with 161.3 million transactions were ahead.
