Road Division Office Dang Issues 15-Day Ultimatum to Remove Illegal Structures

Dang. The Road Division Office Dang has given a 15-day ultimatum to remove illegal structures built within the road boundaries of various highways and road sections under its jurisdiction.
Issuing a notice today, the office has directed the concerned individuals or organizations to remove structures such as houses, sheds, and walls built by encroaching on the road boundaries themselves.

Citing that the construction of structures within the road boundaries in violation of the Public Roads Act, 2031, obstructs traffic and also seriously affects road safety, the Road Division has urged the removal of such structures.  

Main road sections where encroachment needs to be removed
1. Mahendra Highway (NH 01): Dhankhola - Shivkhola section
2. Hulaki Highway (NH 05): Gadhawa - Rajpur section
3. Madan Bhandari Highway (NH 09): Sitalpati - Khalanga - Baluwashangrahi section
4. NH 19: Murkuti - Ghorahi - Tulsipur - Kalche section
5. NH 53: Bhaluwang - Ganaha road section
6. Shahid Marg (NH 54): Koilabas - Lamahi - Ghorahi section
7. Rapti Highway (NH 55): Amelia - Tulsipur - Sitalpati - Khaolapas section
8. Rara Highway (NH 56): Tharmare - Chaurjahari road section

The Road Division Office has warned that if the structures are not removed within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice, they will be demolished in accordance with the prevailing laws. The Division has stated that all expenses incurred in removing the structures will also be recovered from the concerned individuals or organizations.
