Rastriya Swatantra Party Rupandehi Elects Mahendra Prasad Upadhyay as Chairman

Rupandehi. Mahendra Prasad Upadhyay has been elected as the chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rupandehi. Upadhyay was elected chairman by defeating his competitor Ashish Neupane by 153 votes in the district convention held on Sunday in Manigram, Tilottama Municipality-5, Rupandehi. Upadhyay received 296 votes while Neupane received only 143 votes in the voting.

Similarly, Durga Prasad Aryal has won the district vice-chairman post. Aryal received 238 votes while his competitor Rachana Chhetri received 189 votes. Gyanendra Pandey has won the post of secretary with 237 votes while his competitor Mohan Bikram GC received 203 votes. Baburam Aryal won the post of joint secretary with 279 votes while competitor Prem Narayan Tiwari received 148 votes.

Sharmila Acharya with 322 votes, Anita Panthi with 267 votes, Jamuna Sapkota with 160 votes, Ramnath Harijan with 172 votes, and Raj Bahadur Kshetri with 240 votes have won as working committee members. According to the election committee, the coordinators of all five constituencies of Rupandehi have also been finalized.

Accordingly, Khadananda Poudel has won as coordinator of constituency no. 1, Bishnu Prasad Poudel as coordinator of constituency no. 2, Chhabilal Sharma as coordinator of constituency no. 3, Bishwanath Sharma as coordinator of constituency no. 4, and Sheshakanta Gaire 'Samir' as coordinator of constituency no. 5.
