Parliament Session Disrupted by Opposition Demands; Balen Shah Absent

Kathmandu. A scene of tension was witnessed in the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday. Although the opposition obstructed the meeting demanding a response from the Prime Minister, Balen Shah was not ready to come to the parliament.

After that, the meeting proceeded amidst the obstruction by the opposition. During this, while the MPs of the opposition parties were surrounding the well and chanting slogans, the Speaker was proceeding with the business of the House.

During this, the chairman of RSP, Rabi Lamichhane, was seen sitting in his seat and silently watching the opposition's slogans. He left the parliament a few minutes before the end of the House proceedings.
