Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar-2' Claims Record-Breaking Netflix Performance in Pakistan

Islamabad. Ranveer Singh's film 'Dhurandhar-2' has claimed to have set a new record in Pakistan. According to Pakistani content creator Mawia Umer Farooqi, this film is trending number 1 in Pakistan as soon as it was released on Netflix, and Netflix's servers even crashed due to excessive traffic.

'Dhurandhar' and 'Dhurandhar 2' both films were banned from being screened in Pakistani cinemas. However, after its release on Netflix on May 15, it has garnered a huge audience. According to Farooqi's claim, the film received approximately 200 million views within 24 hours of its release. However, Netflix has not officially confirmed the server crash.

According to creator Mawia, despite criticism of propaganda regarding the film, Pakistani audiences were eager to watch it. Audiences wanted to know how Ranveer Singh played his role and how realistic the events of the Karachi region shown in the film were.

In Pakistan, this film has been released under the title 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge (RAW and Undekha)'. Its 3-hour 52-minute long 'uncut version' is available on Netflix. It includes about 3 minutes of action scenes and RAW footage that were cut when shown in Indian cinemas.

Interestingly, this film is currently available on Netflix in Pakistan and other international countries, but it is not being streamed on Netflix in India.

Regarding the claim of 200 million views, it has been clarified that even if the same person watches the film repeatedly, the view count increases, so it does not mean that 200 million separate individuals have watched it.
