Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari Watches Play 'Seto Dharti'

Kathmandu. Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has watched the play 'Seto Dharti'. She watched the play on Saturday at Kantipur Theatre located in Gairidhara. Bhandari, who reached the theatre with some aides, said that the play was very well made and she liked it.

Kantipur Theatre is currently re-staging the play based on the Madan Puraskar winning book 'Seto Dharti'. The play, which was staged some time ago, has started again as per audience demand. Kantipur Theatre started re-staging it from the 13th of last month.

The play, initially scheduled to be staged until June 29, has been extended until June 14, i.e., today, as per audience demand. This play, which features the debut acting of famous actress Benisha Hamal, was staged on May 5 earlier. The play directed by Sundar Dhital also features 30 artists from Kantipur Theatre.

The theatre is also preparing to stage a play of the same name based on the famous work 'Teen Ghumti' by B.P. Koirala.
