Gauthali Film Set for July 1 Release, New Posters Unveiled

Kathmandu. 'Gauthali' is a film that will be released from July 1. The film, made on the story of rural society, has been directed by Dr. Kapil Rizal. The production unit has given some information about the subject matter of the film by releasing two posters simultaneously on Friday.

The first poster features actors Arun Chhetri and Simran Khadka. They are in the guise of bride and groom. In the other poster, Simran is alone, carrying firewood in a basket. However, she is studying. This suggests that she is studying while doing household chores even after getting married. This poster indicates that she got married despite having a strong desire to study, but has not deviated from her goal of studying. It can be inferred from the poster that the film will tell the story of a poor family living in the hills.

In addition to Arun and Simran, the film stars Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Luniba Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanyog Rasaili, Sitadevi Timilsina, Lakshminath Timilsina, and Rajendra Nepali. Child artists Anshu Oli and Prince Nepali have acted as child artists.

The screenplay and dialogue writing, with a story by Dr. Bhola Rizal, involved director Dr. Kapil collaborating with Nishchal Kunwar, Niraj Nepal, and Giriraj Ghimire.

This film, produced by Bhola Rizal Production and Suman Giri Production, has Sarala Rizal as the executive producer. Suman Giri and Dr. Kapil Rizal are the producers, while Indu Giri, Manish Rizal, Pralay Rizal, and Jiwan Oli are the co-producers.

The film, with music by Shambhujeet Baskota, Thaneswar Gautam, and Prashant Sikakoti, has background music by Alice Karki. The film was shot by Hari Humagai and edited by Milan Shrestha. The film will be distributed by Rich Entertainment, Apple Entertainment, and F.D. Company. The digital partner is 'OSR Digital'.

Dr. Bhola Rizal had produced a film titled 'Gauthali' two decades ago. That film is considered Nepal's first 'Geeti Film' (Musical Film). 'Gauthali' completed its 51st day of screening. Director Dr. Kapil Rizal is the son of Dr. Bhola Rizal.
