'Lok Dohori Star Season-2' Auditions to Begin Across Nepal

Kathmandu. The nationwide audition for the reality show 'Lok Dohori Star Season-2', which aims to provide a national platform for talented singers of the new generation in the Nepali folk music sector, is about to begin. The audition, organized by Eventos Studio, will cover all seven provinces. According to the organizers, auditions will be held on Ashar 27 in Itahari, 29 in Chitwan, 31 in Butwal, Shrawan 1 in Nepalgunj, Shrawan 4 in Pokhara, and Shrawan 8 and 9 in Kathmandu. The judges for the show are singer Komal Oli and singers Raju Pariyar and Chandra Sharma. Organizer Eventos Studio has stated that no effort will be spared to make the second edition of the show more organized, grand, and competitive. Nepali citizens who have completed at least 16 years of age can apply to participate in the competition. The competition will be open to both women and men. The organizers have stated that priority will be given to talents who have an interest and dedication towards Nepali folk music, have good knowledge of traditional folk tunes and styles, can deliver expressive performances with clear pronunciation, and can create and present immediate dohori in a question-and-answer style. The show will be broadcast on AP1 HD Television.
