Gujarat Titans Top IPL Standings After Dominating Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kathmandu. In a match held on Tuesday under the Indian Premier League, Gujarat Titans have climbed to the top of the points table by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by a wide margin of 82 runs. With this victory, Gujarat has accumulated 16 points from 12 matches.

Hyderabad, which aimed to reach the top position by winning today's match, has suffered a shameful defeat, dealing a blow to its plans. After this loss, Hyderabad has dropped to third place with 14 points. Bengaluru is in second place based on a better run rate, despite having the same 14 points.

After Hyderabad chose to field upon winning the toss, Gujarat, batting first, scored 168 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sai Sudarshan contributed the highest with 61 runs for Gujarat, while Washington Sundar played a half-century innings of 50 runs.

Hyderabad's batting lineup faltered while chasing the target of 169 runs. Facing Gujarat's tight bowling, Hyderabad could only score 86 runs for all out in 14.5 overs. For them, 19 runs scored by captain Pat Cummins remained the highest. Gujarat bowlers Jason Holder and Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets each.
