Badi Community Protests Against 'Lali Bazaar' Film

Kathmandu. Representatives of the Badi community have protested against the film 'Lali Bazaar', stating that it has defamed and character assassinated their community. They have accused the film of distorting the proud history of the Badi community and spreading negative misconceptions in society, demanding an immediate halt to the production and screening of the film. 

Protesting activists displayed banners and placards with slogans such as 'Respect the Badi Caste, Stop Lali Bazaar Film'. They stated that the scenes used in the film have attacked the morality of the community. Photo: News Agency Nepal
