10 Released on Bail by Kathmandu District Court

Kathmandu. The District Court Kathmandu has ordered the release on bail of Ambika, wife of NCP UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet, and 10 others. The single bench of District Court Judge Mahendra Bahadur Karki on Thursday ordered the release of Ambika Basnet and Sharmila Basnet on a bail of 50,000 and eight others on 25,000. Janice Karki had filed a case against them for attempted murder. The District Court has also ordered the release of Gita Pandit, Pragati Thapa, Sonu Baral, Januka Basnet, Rekha Neupane, Sabina KC, Kamala Basnet, Nita Khatri on a bail of 25,000.
