CPN-UML Vice-Chair Badal Attributes Election Defeat to Right-Wing Opportunism

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Vice-Chair Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has stated that the party suffered defeat in the last election because it failed to defeat right-wing opportunism and anarchism. 

Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the party's establishment day on Wednesday, leader Badal emphasized that it is necessary to defeat right-wing tendencies and anarchism to turn defeat into victory. 

'Why did we lose, why were we defeated? Because we could not defeat right-wing tendencies internally and externally,' Badal said, 'Instead, right-wing tendencies ended up defeating us. The results have proven this fact irrefutably.' 

Vice-Chair Thapa stated that to transform defeat into victory, it is essential to defeat right-wing and anarchist elements both internally and externally.
