CPN UML Vice Chairman Badal Calls Reorganization Task Force Meeting

Kathmandu. CPN UML Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has called a meeting of the UML Reorganization Task Force. The task force meeting has been called for Tuesday at 1 PM at the party central office in Chyasal, informed UML Secretary and task force member Chhabilal Bishwakarma. The secretariat’s eighth meeting on May 10 had formed the task force to prepare a reorganization plan including party purification, strengthening, and transformation. The task force led by Vice Chairman ‘Badal’ has 15 members. Although the task force was given a deadline of one month to submit its report, the first meeting is only being held 15 days after the formation of the task force. ‘The first meeting is being held. The discussion will focus on how the task force will work’, said Secretary Bishwakarma. According to him, the meeting will set the working procedure if necessary. The task force will submit a report with suggestions for election review and party reorganization. The task force includes Vice Chairmen Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Prithvi Subba Gurung, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatta, Secretaries Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Padma Aryal, Bhanubhakta Dhakal, and Standing Committee members.
