Play 'Atiranjan ko Manoranjan' Staged at Mandala Theatre

Kathmandu. The play 'Atiranjan ko Manoranjan' is currently being staged at Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun. Since its premiere on 18 Chaitra, the play has been presenting contemporary themes in an artistic, humorous, and entertaining manner.

Written by Sanyog Guragain and directed by Sagar Khati Kami, who also penned the story, the play will run until 13 Baishakh. It attempts to question the exaggerations seen in society beyond the limits of entertainment and their subsequent impacts.

The production explores the balance between entertainment and reality, the search for truth, and the dimensions of human decision-making. It deeply examines how much truth remains when entertainment crosses its boundaries.

The play is staged daily at 5:30 PM, with an additional matinee show on Saturdays at 1:30 PM. The cast features Somnath Khanal, Sandeep Shrestha, Swapnil Ghimire, Roshan Adhikari, Yashoda Gurung, Sanam Shrestha, Chakra Bista, Rijan Lama, Indra Bahadur Rai, Samir Bhattarai, Amrit Sunar, Roshan Murmu, Mridul Dhakal, Sushmita Karki, Tarun Deuba, Sayujya Bhandari, Bhaskar Budha, Nimish Kattel, and Saurav Chalise.
