TikTok Star Ayush Singh Thakuri Makes Film Debut in 'Ram Naam Satya'

Kathmandu. The number of individuals transitioning from TikTok to the film industry is increasing daily. Among them, TikToker Ayush Singh Thakuri is set to make his film debut. Ayush will appear in the film 'Ram Naam Satya', written and directed by Michael Chand. The film is scheduled for public release this Friday.

He mentioned that although he had received film offers previously, he chose to enter acting because of the compelling storyline of 'Ram Naam Satya'. "The film's story drew me in. My role in the film will be a surprise for the audience," he said. According to Thakuri, the film is based on contemporary themes.

For Ayush, who has garnered millions of followers on TikTok, bringing those fans to the cinema halls is a challenge. However, he stated that the audience is very excited about the film.

Ayush also revealed that a sequel to the film 'Ram Naam Satya' is in the works. He says, "My role is not very large in the first part, but it will be in the second."

Produced by Upendra Shahi and Sweta Wimali, the film is built in the suspense-thriller genre. In addition to Thakuri, the film features performances by Biraj Bhatta, Sushil Shrestha, Supushpa Bhatta, Divya Rayamajhi, Sunil Thapa, Prashant Tamrakar, and Khushi Karki. Cinema halls opened advance bookings for the film on Wednesday, with the movie securing approximately 149 shows.
