NRNA and Nepal Tourism Board to Collaborate on Tourism Promotion

Kathmandu. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and the Nepal Tourism Board are set to collaborate. A delegation led by NRNA President Dr. Hemraj Sharma met with Nepal Tourism Board CEO Deepak Raj Joshi, reaching an agreement to work together. 

The discussion focused on the promotion of Nepal and Nepali tourism, cultural festivals, and long-term cooperation. NRNA spokesperson Som Sapkota stated that the talks also covered tourism promotion, the Nepal Festival, the Nepal House concept, and the preparation of a memorandum of understanding for future collaboration. 

During the meeting, a plan was presented to involve the second generation in the tourism sector. Spokesperson Sapkota added that discussions were also held regarding organizing cultural programs, arts, and traditional activities through the Nepal Festival.

The concept of Nepal House was also introduced during the meeting. The responsibility for drafting the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this collaboration has been assigned to the Nepal Tourism Board.
