Dr. Narayan Dutta Kadel Sworn In as Attorney General

Kathmandu. Dr. Narayan Dutta Kadel has taken the oath of office and secrecy. On Sunday, he took the oath before Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla.

President Ramchandra Paudel appointed Kadel to the position on the recommendation of Prime Minister Balen Shah, in accordance with Article 157, Clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the President on Sunday, Kadel, a native of Baglung, has been appointed as the Attorney General.

The Attorney General is a constitutional position that serves as the chief legal advisor to the government.
