Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Begins Nationwide

Janakpurdham. The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) has commenced simultaneously across the country, including Sarlahi, starting today. On the first day, students are appearing for the compulsory English subject examination.

In Sarlahi district, 35 examination centers have been designated for the exams, which are being held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Education Development and Coordination Unit, Sarlahi, stated that the number of examination centers has been reduced by three compared to last year due to a decrease in the number of students.

The technical stream examination is being conducted at Shrimati Krishna Devi Janata Secondary School in the district headquarters, Malangwa. According to Mitra Prasad Gautam, Chief of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Sarlahi, a total of 11,371 students are participating this year, including 10,285 regular candidates and 1,086 grade improvement candidates.

He confirmed that answer sheets have been delivered to all 35 examination centers and question papers have been securely stored at nearby police stations. Many students whose examination centers are far from their homes have rented rooms nearby.

Starting this year, a new provision has been implemented prohibiting anyone except the center superintendent from using mobile phones at the examination centers. Students, teachers, and staff participating in the examination are strictly forbidden from using cheat sheets, guides, books, notebooks, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.

Ramu Raj Kadariya, Coordinator of the District Examination Coordination Committee and Chief District Officer of Sarlahi, has requested cooperation from all parties to ensure the SEE is conducted in a fair, dignified, and fear-free environment.
