Seven Injured in Ambulance-Mini Truck Collision in Tanahun

Tanahun. Seven people were injured when an ambulance and a mini truck collided head-on this morning in Manahari, Magde Rural Municipality-6, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway.

The accident occurred when the mini truck, with registration number Ga1 Kha 5659, coming from Pokhara towards Damauli, collided with the ambulance, with registration number Lu.Pra.01-001 Jha 0046, traveling from the opposite direction. Seven people were injured in the collision, including six passengers in the ambulance and the mini truck driver, informed Deepak Kumar Karki, Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Tanahun. One of the injured is in serious condition.

The injured include ambulance driver Kushal Pariyar, 24, residing in Thawang Rural Municipality-2, Rolpa; Junrakhi Budha Magar, 61, also from the same place; Anjana Budha Magar, 25; Yuwan Budha Magar, 3; Chijamaya Gharti, 36, residing in Bhume Rural Municipality-7, Eastern Rukum; and Dhan Prasad Budha Magar, 60, residing in Thawang Rural Municipality-2, Rolpa. Police Inspector Karki stated that Anjana Budha Magar, 25, is in serious condition among the injured. The injured are receiving treatment at the GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Center in Belchautara.
