Former Chamber of Commerce President Stresses Unity Among Entrepreneurs for Economic Development

Kathmandu. Former President of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Mall, has stated that unity among entrepreneurs and businesspersons is indispensable for the country's economic development and resolving the problems faced by the private sector. He expressed this view while addressing the candidacy announcement program for the executive committee members from the commodity sector, held under the 60th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Targeting the upcoming election process of the FNCCI, Mall mentioned that all candidates are capable and extended his best wishes. Noting that winning or losing in an election is a natural process, he emphasized the need for everyone to work together after the election.

He believes that only through cooperation among various private sector organizations can the country's economy be steered in the right direction. Stating that the main requirement today is the unity of entrepreneurs and businesspersons, he said that cooperation must continue after the election, just as it has in the past.

Mall stated that everyone must unite to face the difficult situation currently being experienced by Nepal's private sector. He clarified that there is no alternative to collective effort to solve the common problems of businesspersons.

He mentioned that regardless of who wins the election, work must be done in the interest of all industrialists and businesspersons, and for that, the support and backing of everyone are necessary.
