Lalitpur Metropolis Announces Tax Exemptions for FY 2083/84

Lalitpur. Lalitpur Metropolitan City has announced tax exemptions in various headings for taxpayers for the fiscal year 2083/84. Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084, Manjali Shakya Bajracharya announced various tax exemptions.  

According to the metropolis's announcement, taxpayers who pay property tax and land tax by the end of Ashwin will be given a 10 percent discount. A 50 percent discount on business registration for businesses operated by single women, Dalits, and persons or groups with disabilities has been continued.  

To encourage the agricultural sector, farmers involved in nursery, fruit, and vegetable farming will be given exemptions on land rent tax, while the budget has adopted a policy to provide exemptions on map approval fees for private sector entities constructing parking buildings for public use.
