Lalitpur Metropolis Continues Social Security Program for Senior Citizens

Kathmandu. Lalitpur Metropolitan City has decided to continue the social security program it has been providing to senior citizens within its area in the upcoming fiscal year.  

Presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/084, Manjali Shakya Bajracharya has allocated 70 million rupees for the program to distribute an annual lump sum of 10,000 rupees as honorarium to senior citizens who have completed 76 years of age.

The metropolis has allocated an additional 10 million rupees for the health treatment support of the poor and has made arrangements to provide health treatment expenses at a rate of 5,000 rupees per month.
