Bollywood Veteran Akshaye Khanna Set for Telugu Debut in 'Mahakali'

Mumbai. Bollywood veteran actor Akshaye Khanna is now set to appear in South Indian cinema. He is making his debut in the Telugu film industry through director Prasanth Varma's highly anticipated film 'Mahakali'.

Recently, a behind-the-scenes (BTS) picture of Akshaye from the film set went viral on social media, which was shared by director Varma himself.

The film Mahakali is an important part of Prasanth Varma's Cinematic Universe (PVCU). In this film, Akshaye Khanna will be seen in the mysterious and powerful role of the Asura Guru Shukracharya.

Director Varma praised Akshaye's acting and personality, stating that it is an honor to work with him. He called Akshaye synonymous with real talent and claimed his on-screen presence will be powerful.

Along with the South, Akshaye is also busy with a big Bollywood project, 'Ekkis'. In this crime drama film, he will be seen on screen with actor Sunny Deol after 30 years.

These two actors, who worked together in the 1997 superhit film 'Border', are coming together after a long gap.
