Comedian Kunjana Ghimire Explains US Trip as Compelled

Kathmandu. Comedian Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) has said that her America trip was out of compulsion. She expressed this view by posting an emotional status on social media.

Requesting support for her husband Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) returning to Nepal, she clarified that she was compelled to leave due to difficult circumstances in the past.

Sharing a picture on social media, she wrote - 'I didn't run away, I left because I couldn't bear to die moment by moment, because breathing was difficult and I was suffocating, I couldn't live, I couldn't get justice by dying, I had to live somehow, and I left with hurt feelings from everyone.'

After the campaign to build the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Chitwan began, the Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation was entangled in debt and various controversies. Due to financial burden and widespread criticism, the couple had been facing mental stress.

Recalling the past days, Ghimire wrote - 'Every time I see this photo, I still cry out loud.'

She stated that her husband Sitaram Kattel 'Dhurmus' has now returned to Nepal in search of justice and urged everyone to provide positive support instead of negative criticism or non-cooperation.

'My Dhurmus has returned to his country to seek justice, please stop chasing us and support him,' she said.
