Ghodaghodi and Budhiganga Municipalities Secure Victories on Day Three of SPA Kailali Pride League T20 Cricket Tournament

Dhangadhi. Ghodaghodi Municipality and Budhiganga Municipality emerged victorious on the third day of the 'SPA Kailali Pride League T-20 Cricket Tournament' currently underway at the Phapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.

In the first match of the day, Ghodaghodi Municipality defeated पुनर्वास नगरपालिका (A) by a massive margin of 101 runs. Having won the toss and elected to bat first, Ghodaghodi posted a huge total of 206 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Ghodaghodi,

Tek Rawat scored 69 runs off 35 balls, Nabyug Basnet scored 34 runs off 31 balls, Anubhav Thakulla contributed 23 runs off 14 balls, and Sunil Dailal scored 20 runs off 13 balls. In bowling, Bharat Chand, Neeraj Sarki, and Avinash Singh of पुनर्वास took 2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 207 runs, पुनर्वास नगरपालिका (A) was bundled out for only 105 runs in 19.3 overs. To restrict पुनर्वास cheaply, Ghodaghodi's Nabyug Basnet and Nishan Regmi delivered lethal spells, taking 3 wickets each, while Ayush Dwariya claimed 2 wickets.

Similarly, in the second match played today, Budhiganga Municipality registered a 6-wicket victory over Godawari Municipality. Having won the toss and chosen to bat first, Godawari Municipality could only manage 103 runs, losing all wickets in 19.3 overs.

Chasing a modest target of 104 runs, Budhiganga Municipality achieved the target in 13.3 overs, losing 4 wickets, scoring 105 runs. Sunil Chand scored 29, Deepak Rokaya scored 20, and Sandeep Bist remained unbeaten on 18 runs for Budhiganga's victory. This tournament, in which various local levels from Sudurpashchim are participating, is being organized by the Kailali District Cricket Association at the Phapla Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.
