Two Arrested in Kanchanpur for Alleged Rape of Minor

Mahendranagar. Kanchanpur police have arrested two individuals on charges of raping a minor. Heeranath, 40, of Bhimdattanagar-10, and Naresh Nath, 47, of Bhimdattanagar-10, were arrested by the police on allegations of taking the minor into the Baijanath Community Forest in Bhimdattanagar-10 and raping her.

Police Inspector Birendra Thapa of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, stated that two people were arrested based on the report of the rape and a detailed investigation is underway. "The police are currently conducting a detailed investigation," said Police Inspector Thapa, "The police began investigating after receiving a complaint that the girl was forcibly raped after being taken into the forest."
