Youth Stabbed in Rautahat Following Dispute Over Alcohol Consumption

Rautahat. A young man was stabbed during a fight that ensued after consuming intoxicants in Karkach Tol of Dewahi Gonahi Municipality-6, Rautahat. Police stated that a dispute arose between local 22-year-old Rakesh Kumar Das and 21-year-old Awadhesh Kumar Das around 5:30 PM on Wednesday evening during alcohol consumption, leading to the stabbing.

Rakesh Kumar Das sustained injuries to his back and face from the stabbing. He has been admitted to the Community Hospital in Katahariya for treatment. Doctors reported that he required 10 stitches.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a team led by Inspector Tejprasad Bhattarai was deployed from the Area Police Office, Katahariya, and the Area Police Office, Dewahi Gonahi.

Police reported that the accused involved in the incident is on the run and efforts to locate him are ongoing.
