Two Die in Kanchanpur: Election Constable and Motorcyclist Killed in Separate Incidents

Mahendranagar. Two people, including an election constable, have died in Kanchanpur. The election constable deployed in Punarbas Municipality died during treatment today. According to District Police Office Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Hem Bahadur Shahi, 35-year-old Mansingh Rana, an election constable deployed at the Jivanshaktii Basic Polling Station in Punarbas Municipality-9 Sitabasti, originally from Laljhandi Rural Municipality-3 Balmi, has died.

He became unconscious while cooking food on Monday night and died during treatment today at Nisharga Hospital in Dhangadhi. Spokesperson Shahi stated that Rana was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.

Similarly, a young man died in a motorcycle accident. Niraj Chaudhary, 23, from Bhadgatpur, Bhimdattanagar Municipality, died after the motorcycle he was riding became uncontrollable in Bedkot Municipality.

The District Police Office Kanchanpur reported that the motorcycle with registration number M1P 8045, driven by Chaudhary, who was coming from Bedkot-7 Gauji towards Sudurpaschim, became uncontrollable and crashed. He died today at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi after being seriously injured in the accident.

Sagar Chaudhary, 22, and Pramod Chaudhary, 19, both from Bhadgatpur, who were riding the same motorcycle, were injured. Police stated that both are undergoing treatment in Dhangadhi. According to the police, the motorcycle became uncontrollable and hit an electric pole.
