Nepal Oil Corporation Assures Public of Uninterrupted Fuel Supply Amid Middle East Tensions

Kathmandu. The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has clarified that the rising tensions in the Middle East will not affect the supply of petroleum products in Nepal. NOC Spokesperson Manoj Thakur stated that the fuel supply remains regular and there is no need for consumers to panic.

Spokesperson Thakur asserted that Nepal's fuel supply system is secure and well-managed. "We have an agreement with India, and we are regularly receiving as much fuel as we demand," he said. "Since supply is continuous via pipeline, there is no possibility of a fuel crisis."

Even with rising prices in the international market, the NOC has currently maintained the existing prices. They stated that there will be no change in petroleum prices for the next 15 days and that supply is adequate according to demand.

The NOC has committed to ensuring no shortage of petroleum products in the market, as fuel is being imported through both pipeline and tanker means, and storage capacity is also sufficient.
