Inspector General of Police Directs Officers to Ensure Fearless Elections

Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has stated that all police personnel must unite with a sense of collective responsibility and work in their respective areas to successfully conduct the elections in a fear-free environment, viewing the election as a national resolve.

While directing police personnel via audio-visual means regarding the security precautions and contemporary issues to be adopted before, during, and after the election, he instructed them not to forget their duty to the nation.

Furthermore, he directed them to be deployed in the field with strategy after analyzing security sensitivities. Inspector General Karki emphasized the need to adopt a reliable security plan and maintain continuous coordination and cooperation with other security agencies.
