Ten individuals apprehended with sharp weapons in Patharishanishchare Municipality

Biratnagar. Police have taken 10 individuals into custody with domestic sharp weapons and tools in Patharishanishchare Municipality. They were apprehended from near the suspension bridge located at the border of Ward No. 9 and 10 of Patharishanishchare Municipality. A police team on patrol from the Inaruwa Police Office found them in a suspicious condition at around 11:30 PM on Jestha 20. The police recovered sharp weapons and tools such as a katti, khurpa, martal, small hand axe, chain, and spear from the apprehended individuals. Those arrested include 18-year-old Ebin Rai, 19-year-old Supreme Rai, and 18-year-old Ridam Tamang, residents of Ward No. 4 of Patharishanishchare Municipality. Similarly, 19-year-old Yujin Rai, 18-year-old Appeal Rai, and 22-year-old Abhishek Thapa, residents of Triveni Chowk, Ward No. 10, have also been taken into custody by the police. 18-year-old Nishan Majhi and 18-year-old Susan Thatal from Ward No. 9, and 18-year-old Ariya Dhimal and approximately 18-year-old Kripa Limbu from Shikhar Chowk, Ward No. 1, have also been arrested. Those found with weapons have been taken into custody and are being held at the Inaruwa Police Office. Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Makendra Kumar Mishra, Information Officer at the District Police Office Morang, informed that a five-day detention period has been extended by the District Administration Office Morang for further investigation into all those arrested for indecent offense.
