Pokhara University Graduates 6,622 Students at 21st Convocation Ceremony

Pokhara. A total of 6,622 students from various faculties were conferred degrees at the 21st Convocation Ceremony of Pokhara University on Friday. Chancellor and Prime Minister Sushila Karki conferred the degrees upon the students at a special ceremony held at the university's central office in Khudi Dhungepatan, Pokhara-30.

At the convocation ceremony, 3,625 students from the Faculty of Management, 2,506 from Science and Technology, 365 from Health Sciences, and 126 from Humanities and Social Sciences participated. Chandani Joshi, who has gathered six decades of national and international experience, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. Before the conferment, a special meeting of the University Assembly, chaired by Prime Minister Karki, passed the 'Grace List' of eligible students.

During the ceremony, 664 students who achieved academic excellence were awarded the 'Dean's List' title, and other outstanding students were honored with various medals. Established in B.S. 2054, this university currently has 37,593 students studying. The university operates 74 academic programs through 66 constituent colleges across the country.
