Bollywood Actor Farhan Akhtar Set for Hollywood Debut in Sony Pictures' 'The Beatles' Project

New Delhi. Bollywood director and actor Farhan Akhtar is set to debut in Hollywood. After 120 Bahadur, Farhan will be seen on the big screen once again. But this time, it will not be in Bollywood, but in Hollywood.

Sony Pictures has announced its new film with Farhan Akhtar. The film is titled 'The Beatles - A Four Film Cinematic Event'. This film will be directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes. The film is scheduled to release in April 2028, two years from now. Along with Farhan Akhtar, Lucy Boynton, Morfydd Clark, and Harry Latti will play the main roles in the film.

Farhan to Portray Pandit Ravi Shankar

In this film, Farhan will play the role of Bharat Ratna-winning sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar. According to Variety, a large-scale biographical series about the famous British band is already being made in the UK.

In this series, separate films are being made for the four members of The Beatles: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Sony Pictures Television will release the film worldwide in April 2028.
