Pashupati Area Development Trust Finalizes Preparations for Mahashivaratri Festival

Kathmandu. The Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) has announced that preparations for the Mahashivaratri festival in the Pashupati area have reached the final stage. The Trust provided this information regarding management and preparations during a press conference on Thursday.

According to the Trust, arrangements have been made for traffic management, darshan (viewing) through four separate lines for devotees, and security on the day of Shivaratri. Mahashivaratri falls on Falgun 2.

Information provided by the Trust on Thursday regarding the management preparations for Mahashivaratri Festival - 2082 indicates that 800,000 devotees are expected to visit Pashupatinath and four thousand ascetics will participate on the day of Shivaratri.
