Motorcycle Accident in Kathmandu Claims One Life

Kathmandu. One person has died in a motorcycle accident in Bhrikuti Chowk, Kapana, Kathmandu. The accident occurred last night when two motorcycles collided.

According to SP Naresh Subedi of the Valley Traffic Police Office, 24-year-old Kusan Sherpa, originally from Makalu Rural Municipality in Sankhuwasabha and residing in Kathmandu, died in the accident.

The motorcycle with registration number Bagmati Province-02-014 Pa 3562, traveling from Phyka towards Tinchule, collided with the motorcycle with registration number Ba.87 Pa 6347, which Kusan was riding. After the collision with the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, police sent him to Helping Hand Hospital in Chabahil for treatment. He died during treatment.

The driver of the motorcycle with registration number Bagmati Province-02-014 Pa 3562, 21-year-old Binod Tamang, originally from Sindhupalchok and residing in Boudha, was also injured. He is undergoing treatment.
