Prithvi Highway Reopens After Dry Landslide Cleared

Kathmandu. The Prithvi Highway has come into operation after the dry landslide that fell near the Tigrang mine area in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-10, Dhading, was cleared. The highway has been fully operational for vehicles on both sides since 4 am today. Earlier, dry landslides continuously falling from above in that area had completely obstructed the Prithvi Highway. Due to the risk, the District Administration Office, Dhading, had stopped the movement of all types of vehicles until further notice. The police have stated that the Prithvi Highway has been fully operational since 4 am today after the landslide was removed and the road was made safe.
