Reena Dangol Appointed Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom

Kathmandu. Chief Technical Officer Reena Dangol has been given the responsibility of Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited (Nepal Telecom). She has been appointed to this prestigious post effective from Magh 23, as per the decision of the Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister and Minister for Communications and Information Technology.

Upon getting the opportunity to lead Telecom, she assumed office today itself. The newly appointed Acting Managing Director Dangol has a long and experienced journey at Nepal Telecom. Having graduated in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University, she started serving in Telecom as an engineer in 2051 BS.

In her career spanning three decades, she has successfully led the Directorates of Biratnagar and Kathmandu Provincial Directorates, as well as the Wireline and Customer Service Directorate. Recently, she was serving as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Technical Officer.

Assuming office, Dangol expressed gratitude for the trust shown in her by the Government of Nepal. She committed to making the company more technology-friendly and financially capable by prioritizing customer needs and government priorities during her tenure. She also called upon the employees to move forward with a common objective to prove Telecom superior in the competitive market.
